Volunteers needed!
There are many ways you can volunteer to help
Here are some suggestions, to give you an idea of the different possibilities
Walking/Playing
Whether its chasing after a ball or just a nice walk, dogs just love to be outdoors or spend time with new people and its great for their socialization.
Cleaning/Laundry
Washing blankets, cleaning pens, animals love a clean space as much as humans do
Cage Cleaner/Caretaker at Petsense
Volunteers go to PetSense twice a day to make sure the kitties have clean cages, food, water and to give them a little attention. Morning volunteers usually arrive between 9-10 a.m. and evening volunteers between 5-6 p.m. We can be slightly flexible on the times. Even if you can't commit to a regular shift every week, please consider being a trained back-up who can fill in when needed.
Transport
Taking dogs and/or cats to and from the vet, bringing them to our facility from Animal Control, meeting the spay/neuter transport, or just taking a dog for a field trip.
Repair/Construct
If you know your way around tools and yard equipment, there's always something to be fixed, patched up, or cleaned up.
